Description:

AIMSUN NG is a fully integrated suite of traffic and transportation analysis tools. It can be used for transport planning, microscopic traffic simulation, and demand and traffic data analysis. It provides an integrated platform for both static and dynamic modelling.

AIMSUN NG has been designed to slot into your working environment. It can import and manipulate GIS data from several sources (ESRI, Tele Atlas, NAVTEQ...). It reads CAD data and bitmaps to simplify editing and enhance project presentation. It can translate data from other applications (EMME/2, CONTRAM, CUBE and SATURN with more to come). And AIMSUN NG is able to load detection data (both offline from historical databases or online in real time) to be used by the simulator, the planner or the visualization module.

AIMSUN NG is also an extensible software environment whose architecture allows unlimited numbers of components - ones produced by TSS or third party vendors as well as components developed by its users. The user can enjoy as much programming access to AIMSUN NG and customization capabilities as TSS.

AIMSUN NG is multiplaform and works under MS Windows, Linux and Mac OS X

Is your app capable to model traffic pollution and display results, like we can have with STREET or ADMS Road?

Yes, our application is able to model traffic pollution as well as fuel consumption and display the results, although we are not sure of how STREET or ADMS Road do it, anyway the results can be exported to other formats so you can display and process them using your favourite tools.

Look interesting. What norms do you use to compute concentrations? How are displayed the results, just in the road axes or in 3D, and what about time step?

Actually you should write to info@aimsun.com and ask for the linux demo, i think we don't provide one at the moment but more people asking for it will pressure the management. I can ensure you the app works since i am using it since almost two years ago in Linux.
